The “MARU-TSURU” logo design is inspired by the family crest of the Nanbu Clan from Kuji City, Iwate Prefecture — the birthplace of KIMONO. The two cranes facing each other embody the spirit of respect and courtesy deeply rooted in Japanese martial arts such as Judo and Jiu-Jitsu. In Japan, cranes are considered auspicious symbols of peace and longevity, representing harmony and mutual respect.
